Several good ones come to mind like Tom Brady and Drew Brees, but for my money, Peyton Manning has been the best QB within the last decade. His passes are delivered with zip and precision, his audibles keep defenses confused, but most importantly, his game management skills are second to none. Peyton Manning is one of those players that will elevate the play of those around him by leadership and by demanding it of his teammates. If you've ever seen him during a no-huddle drive, it's pretty amazing to watch. He moves the offense so quickly that the defense has no time to substitute fresh players and are left gasping for air. We are all witnesses.

It's Tom Brady for leading the Patriots to a 9-2 record so far. He already won several super bowl championship games, so he will be a hall of fame quarterback. Tom Brady brings so much talent at the quarterback position. His leadership, excellent decision making, and love for the game is apparent on the field. He can pick a part most opposing team defense and turn it into a win. He can't scramble, but his vision and pocket presence is just as deadly as Micheal Vick scrambling around to get more than ten yards.

On the other hand, I will have to mention Payton Manning, Philip Rivers, Aaron Rogers, Mark Sanchez, and Drew Brees as top performers this season. Philips, Rogers, and Mark still need to prove that they belong in the top rating by leading their respective teams to the big dance, super bowl. But I will give them the credit for impressive wins and come from behind victories this season.

Aaron Rodgers, hands down. Peyton can't handle the pressure blitz too well since he lacks mobility. Brady is a pretty boy, and not sure how he'd do outside of NE. Aaron has accuracy, leadership, smarts, and does more with less talent around him. How many drops did his WRs have in the SB, but he still got the win at the end? Big time. Plus, he went to Cal. Go Bears!

Too bad the Niners passed him up.
