Boy those are all good movies. Don't forget Donnie Brasco, that was a classic! I've been watching the Mob Wives reality show recently on VH1. It's like reality meets fantasy. These women really did have mobster husbands and dads. But their families paid the price too.
I almost forgot about Donnie Brasco and The Bronx Tale. I haven't seen Mob Wives believe it or not. I thoroughly enjoyed The Sopranos on HBO back in the day, but now that Boardwalk Empire has emerged you gotta love it.
Scarface is surely at the top of the list. Pacino hamming it up as a Cuban drug dealer. You have to love it. I liked Casino and really liked it the first time around when it was called Goodfellas. And the big 2, Godfather 1 and 2...but please NOT Godfather 3!
I have to agree Goodfellas and Scarface are great movies. Goodfellas and Casino have to be my favorites of all time though I will say, they are great movies with great stories and amazing actors.
The unholy trio of mafia classics for me is Goodfellas, The Godfather trilogy and Scarface. Pacino and deNiro slip into these roles with hand in-glove fluency.
Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrells, Donnie Brasco, Gangster Number 1, Scarface are just a few.
Goodfellas and The Godfather series are epitome of good gangster movies. I love these movies and can't get enough of watching Al Pacino. It's his best role to date.
Goodfellas is a great movie and probably my all time favorite. Casino is also another great Gangster movie!
I enjoy the old black and white crime movies! One of my favorites is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uhNbDW77H4&list=PLD212203DF7D1BFFE&index=9&feature=plpp_video The Hoodlum! I know that a lot of people are into high tech, color and special effects but I find the old locations and way of life to be very unique!
