I think that Arizona needs to build some more amusement parks or make something for bored teenagers to do.
Are there any fun nature trails around your area? I love amusement parks and can't image not having any around my area, i get scared at the thought I also can't image not having an ocean right by me, i don't know what i'd do if i didn't have a beach anywhere near me. Something really fun to do in the summer is bounce on a trampoline and swim in a pool. Video games and books are always a good way to get rid of boredom too, or just daydream (<<< That's me daydreaming.)
If by nature, you mean the desert filled with snakes/scorpions and 110 degree weather..... Then yes, there are plenty of nature trails Arizona really is boring... The only "amusement park" in Phoenix is called Castles and Coasters, and it's REALLY crappy. The next best thing is the mall :/ [edit] Totally forgot about waterparks. Big Surf is pretty fun. I wouldn't recommend any of the others... lol.
I was recently in Arizona up around the Prescott area. I was visiting family and I wondered what do people do for amusement. No sooner did I ask the question, 5 people offered to show me around. I'm somewhat an adventurer by nature and I'm sure I would have made something happen, but in the end I had a blast. I grew up in an island culture on a rock and every time I said I was bored, my mom would tell me it's not because "it's" boring it's because "I'm" boring. Now it's okay for a parent to say that to a child (meaning well of course) and some will get it, some won't. I eventually got it. When people visit where I live, they say our amusement parks are a joke but I loved them especially growing up. So I can see you wanting more parks, but how long will it last before you start saying "I'm bored" again. Just some light thinking.
We really enjoy Arizona a lot. We always find a lot to do when we are in Arizona. Maybe it's our age, who knows. It seems like every time we are there, we always find something different. We are heading back there in a little over a month again and plan on going on a rafting trip plus some zip lining which I have never done before. We really enjoyed going on a Segway when we were in Sedona and did a lot of touring.
