Anyone who thinks that that piece of trash is innocent is a complete moron. 1) There WAS evidence in her car--chloroform and duct tape. Not to mention that her car smelled like decomposing flesh. 2) She didn't report her missing. It was over a month before her parents finally did. 3) She lied and said her daughters "nanny" may have killed her and it turns out that she never had a nanny. She even gave cops a fake name and address. 4) They found the body down the street from her house. She is guilty as hell and I'm appalled by the fact that she doesn't even care.
The sad unfortunate ending to this is that the murderer(s) are set free to live their every day lives and will most likely get compensation for movies, books, etc. I stand corrected, Casey will be free in a week. My bad.
So Casey has been freed. But the irony is that she is more imprisoned than ever. The media is doing their best to track her down while she goes into hiding. I live on the West Coast so this story didn't really catch our attention until it hit mainstream. But for those of you who live in Orlando, what's the local sentiment like? Do you know anyone who knows her or went to school with her? I'm captivated by what happens next.
Well, she's currently released from jail and whereabouts are unknown. I personally do not live in Orlando, but I'm about an hr. away from there. Most people are enraged that she is free and served only threee years so.... The thing about Casey is those that claimed to have known her did not really step up and say anything that would've incriminated her. It was almost as though she was being protected. Supposedly our judicial system works and is fair, but compared to which countries is my question.
