I do not know about any of you but I did not pick UCONN or Butler to get to the final 4, let alone the Championship. Butler has been the biggest surprise but that's what keeps life and basketball so interesting. Since, I am not a huge fan of either team (until now, of course since they showed us who had the most heart and game this season), I am just looking forward to a good game. What about you? Any takers? Any thoughts on tonight's game?
I picked UConn to win, although my heart was with the underdog, Butler. The whole tournament was pretty good, although the final game was a blowout. Much props to Butler and mid major schools like VCU for making it so far.
Yes, the Finals were a bust. Do you think the score could have been any lower? Yikes..... UCONN was good and has ranked well all year but it is something about the Cinderella team. You just want them to slay the expected favorite. I love how many of the teams would not be counted out. We were all in shock over some many of those games before getting to the Elite 8. It made for some great and unexpected surprises in college basketball this year. NBA time, now.......
