I have to admit that I never have visited the Mustard Museum, here in Wisconsin, and yes they are making all kinds of mustard there or the Mars Cheese Castle Factory, located on the eastern edge, near Milwaukee, right off the expressway. I do not think I missed much at the Cheese place because it was pretty old and wood-lodge like, or so I hear but now, a totally renovated and modernized facility awaits. The list of the top must do's when I get there is as follows: 1) Try out the Ten of Clubs Horseradish Cheese Spread 2) Try the Mars' Cheddar Cheese Bread 3) I'm not a big beer drinker so I'll share it : Spotted Cow Beer (made in WI) They also have lots of prized sausages and brats but I don't eat pork so that counts me out. PS-I will update this post after my visit.
I have lived in Wisconsin all my life and I have never been to the Mustard Museum. I never knew that it existed. I am always looking for something different to do. My husband loves his mustard, this might be something different to do that he might enjoy. I just noticed that it is located in Middleton, Wisconsin. Thank you for the wonderful idea to look into.
I have a book with Winsconsin since highschool. I like it so much, it seems such a peaceful state. I would give anything to have the chance to visit it. And stay there
