If you could physically move your state, where would you move it to? If you could keep everything in it - the people, the politics, and the geography - but actually move it, like a puzzle piece, to another part of the country, where would you?

I'd like to move mine to the middle of the country. But Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma would all have to move somewhere else. I don't want those guys near me.

Possibly near the middle, so that there's no risk of tsunamis and that stuff!

I wouldn't move my state because i love where it is but Rob Leung does make a good point about tsunamis, scary!

This is such a creative topic, I'm impressed.

I live in Northern California, so it's hard for me to imagine not living near a large body of water (such as the ocean). However, Northern Cali is much colder than the Southern part. So what I'd do is flip the state 180 degrees! Voila! Warmer weather, no thick jackets required.

You guys have to remember not to move your state near tornado or earthquake prone areas! I wouldn't want to be near Kansas for that reason.

I live in Florida and like having the ocean near me and I like the location of the state so I wouldn't change where it is.

I don't think I would change mine; I live in Florida and it just wouldn't work anywhere else. I guess the only other place would be to flip it with California. This state would be pretty useless if it didn't have the ocean and that climate.
  7. If I could possibly move my state around, I would move it onto an island. I'm bored of being in the same country with just miles and miles of USA everywhere, we need some ocean around 'ere. Virginia Beach just doesn't cut it.

I honestly don't think I would move Ohio. I love it here, but I would like to move a bigger body of water to it, besides Lake Erie. Is that possible? I would love to push the Atlantic in maybe cover up P.A. and All of New England could just be an island!

I live in Wisconsin. I would probably move my state to Arizona. I love Arizona and I love all of the rock formations there. It would be awesome to move Wisconsin there where there are great hiking trails, beautiful monuments and wonderful history. I can't complain about their weather either. No snow and warmer temps for the most part. What do you all think those of you that live in Wisconsin? I can't move to Arizona because my family is here and won't move so I think that we should move Wisconsin to Arizona.

I was born in Ohio, it is way too cold for me so I moved to Maryland where it is warmer. I have lived in California also, I would leave both states right where they are. But Ohio I move south.

In my opinion, Texas is too big; I would move my state of Nevada onto some part of Texas; this in turn, would also provide more beaches on the west side of the United States:D.

Can I move the state out of America? I would love to place my state near Mediterranean sea. Mediterranean food and climate is excellent so I would love to lead a relaxed life over there. :)

I'd move Washington a little further south. I love the weather, but I could handle it being a little hotter during these months...

I'd move it off the coast of California, right next to San Diego. Perfect weather in a beautiful area.

As someone that currently lives in the middle of Kansas I would move it so fast to a coastal area. I hate having to make a vacation out of visiting the ocean. Would be perfect if I could just wake up in the morning one day and walk on down to the beach and enjoy it.
