Everyone who lives in the city has their favorite places to go out at in the city. Some of my favorites are the Map Room and Local Option for their great beer lists and if im closer to downtown I'll go to Gilt Bar, they have great foot and an awesome cocktail lounge downstairs. Where do you like to go?
I don't go out very often. The club scene really isn't my thing but I always love getting to go to Navy Pier when I get the chance. There's almost always something fun to do and something new to see when I get the opportunity to go.
I loved just visiting downtown Chicago, period, but if I had to pick a place, it would be the Museum of Science and Industry. I haven't been there for years, though. Last time I was visiting my old home, I took my nieces and nephews to go there. I didn't plan it right, since it was spontaneous, and we ended up going to the wrong place. I figured it would be at the museum plaza (or is it square?). Heh, I was wrong, lol. So instead I had the bright idea to take 5 young kids through downtown Chicago. I got them all home safely, but I will never do that again.
