I don't like seafood at all. Though I love hotdogs and hamburgers!

I heard that they are also big on Kielbasa and other sausages as well. They do go well with the Cheese :) Ahhhh you are making me hungry now. Where I live its just Oranges, oranges and well more oranges..... you can only drink so much of it you know. I mean have you ever heard of Orange pie? Nope I didn't think so.

Hmm, just because southern food was mentioned earlier in the thread, I'm going to go with biscuits and gravy in the south. I lived in Kentucky for several years and have family there, so even though it's not the deep south, biscuits and gravy are definitely better there than any other replica you can find elsewhere.

My Canadian friends are clueless and have only ever tried knockoff attempts from places like Bob Evans or Denny's and let me tell you, they are disgusting here! Ew. My grandpa made a mean gravy with fresh sausage and the grease as the starter. It was always the perfect thickness...not too runny, but not so thick that it got clumpy. And the biscuits....homemade usually, but even if not, it didn't matter because he'd buy the layered fluffy ones in the can and cook them to the perfect doneness so that the meal was to die for.

I know, I know, it's just biscuits and gravy, but if you've ever had a good southern variety and then had to go without for years, you'd know how amazing they really are.

Well being from Buffalo I of course have to say Buffalo Wings. I have had them in many different cities and states and none of them even begin to compare to the ones we have in Buffalo.

I have to say that my favorite dish has to be halal food, chicken over rice. For those of you who are not from NYC let me explain, basically all around the city we have food vendors (carts) where people sell this arabic type food, it is THE BEST food ever. You can either get chicken over rice, lamb over rice, chicken gyro, lamb gyro, chicken falafel, lamb falafel. I always get the chicken over rice, it comes in a white styrofoam box and it is just the most delicious thing ever. If anyone here ever travels to NYC I would definitely recommend you try it out. They have carts all over the city!

Cuban Sandwich. I do hate that you need to speak Spanish in Florida because every sign is written in Spanish and not English, but GD those Cuban sandwiches rock.

Living in Orlando, we are close to the beach. This makes for fresh seafood at great prices. My favorite is blackened Mahi Mahi,,,:)

Down here in Argentina we have empanadas. They started being made in the Northern part of the country (that's why the most delicious ones are made in there). If you've never had one, you're missing one of the best dishes/snacks you can have. They're yummy!

These ones are empanadas criollas (made out of meat, hard boiled egg, etc.)
