Favorite Or Popular Dish In Your Area/Country/State?

I've learned to appreciate and know the difference of southern food !

Right now, I live in Wisconsin, which is known as "cheese country." So the many connoisseurs and makers of different cheeses are here (and they take it very easy). I cannot wait for the farmers' markets to start because then you get to meet and greet the cheese-makers. They are always happy and excited to tell you all about their products and they give out lots of samples.

i bet you can make a screaming Mac & Cheese huh

I am sure there are many here in Wisconsin that can but I can't ..... I prefer a wine, cheese, bread and fruit plate (oh and good company, of course).

However, I will say that my family is from the South so I have experienced homemade mac and cheese that is "to die for." This dish usually appears around the holidays and like lasagna, it's pretty heavy so a few times of year is plenty.

Ummm I mainly eat asian dishes but they're mostly from all different kinds of variety and I love them all.
I had some Spring rolls yesterday. Pho the other day, Teriyaki the day before.. Hehehehehe

I do enjoy steak though. But I consider it an asian dish because I eat it with rice buahahha

Hmm...this is hard because the diversity of restaurants in California is large. I would say sushi. There's hundreds of sushi places sometimes right next to each other. My favorite sushi restaurant is Sushi O Sushi off of El Camino Real in Sunnyvale. The Lion King roll is the best! It's a honey glazed salmon roll that's slightly baked...it is to die for! Also the Rainbow Roll is good.

I love the deep fried mars bars here in BC, Canada. I know you can get them practically around the world, but they are SO GOOD! The Chinese food in general is really popular here though.

Hmm, I'm not sure about dishes, but South US loves iced tea and some north US states/cities have never even heard of it.

Haha, where I live we have pizza which has 4 different types of cheese it's amazing. I like ham and cheese though, it's my favourite pizza topping.

I love any meat-and-potatoes dish. I'm a hard working man and need to keep my metabolism going. As a Northwesterner, we eat a lot of seafood, and general game.

But I'm also an American, which means nothing beats a hotdog or hamburger.
