Has anyone ever been to the Bronx, NY? --- I, was born and raised in the Bronx New York. I love it so much!
I've been to NY but I'm not sure if I've been to the Bronx. I think my sister used to live there. She didn't really like it because she lived in a cheap little apartment.
I went to Bronx once while on a trip to NYC we went to the Bronx Zoo it was pretty fun but I was a lot younger when we went. It was a lot nicer then the zoo here in Buffalo.
Yes I've been to the Bronx a few times, my cousin goes to Fordham University so I visit him there from time to time. Also I've been to the Bronx Botanical Garden and the Bronx Zoo. Both places are great fun, in fact I haven't been to either in a while, I should go back and visit.
I currently live in the Bronx. It's OK, but I would love a change of scenery. I do like the North East Bronx, where its relatively quiet. There are also a couple independent restaurants that I like, such as Giovanni's on Grand Concourse. They have incredible italian food and live jazz on Thursdays. The downside to me is that there isn't much to do here. If you're looking for something to do, more than likely, you would have to head to the City or Brooklyn.
I have a brother that lives in the Bronx. So I do get up there on occasion. Needless to say though, I wouldn't want to live there. Aside from maybe catching a Yankee game and him, I wouldn't be caught up there at all.
I'm a field tech and I pretty much only go to the Bronx for work. I take the train everywhere and I hate the bus. When I go to the Bronx, I can always only take the train so far then either take the bus, which I just won't do, or walk for a long time usually up a hill or something. What's up with all the freakin' hills? lol. For the places I go, it just seems hard to get around. I did go to see a friend there a few times, but again, the train dropped me off not even close to where I needed to be. So, other than the Bronx zoo, I don't go up there personally. I just keep thinking about how long it will take for me to get back home which makes me not want to go uptown in general. I'm from downtown Brooklyn. I was always only a stop or 2 from Manhattan. That's pretty much how far I'll go personally; from lower Manhattan to midtown.
I go to the Bronx but mainly to catch a baseball game once in a while. I've also had a cousin live there for a short time but in a very rough neighborhood. I don't really see myself living in the Bronx but it's definitely a place I'd hang out in once in a while.
I love the Bronx! I would always stay with a friend in the Bronx for spring break. It was always fun checking out Fordham Road. I was amazed. I would hang out in Poe Park and walk up and down the Grand Concourse. My favorite chinese food spot ever is in the Bronx.
