There's a new popcorn shop in town. I don't know about you but I am a lover of popcorn. The Windy City is a restaurant lover's and a foodie's dream come true. It is, trust me....So many neighborhoods, so many ethnicities, oh yes, it's on..Well, not going to give a full restaurant review just adding a thought about a new shop that I must visit (and maybe take in a White Sox's game too since it's in the neighborhood). It's called Mother Butter's Popcorn and Confectionary. I am mostly curious because there is a phenomenal popcorn shop in Chicago, called Garrett's. It offers the best cheese popcorn I have ever tasted in my life. You can order a carmel and cheese mix...it's so good, yum . My mouth is watering just thinking of it. People stand in long lines that run outside of these stores, down the street and around the corner. Native Chicagoans, away from home, can order Garrett's on-line. It is simply just that delicious... so I am curious about this new shop that has opened up in Bronzeville, an up and coming, historic neighborhood (that was once a cultural hub housing such jazz greats as Louie Armstrong, Sam Cooke and many others). I am so excited to experiment with some of their new flavors that include, red pepper cheddar and carmel cashew.
